Epoxy Map of The Hawaiian Islands!
1 min read
This Hawaiian Islands board was custom made for a client in the US using walnut and epoxy. We first had the board engraved on a laser at 1/8" deep and then mixed up UVpoxy with blue pigment to fill the voids. After the epoxy cures, we sand the piece smooth and apply an oil finish.
Here’s What We Used:
WOOD: Walnut
EPOXY: Ecopoxy UVpoxy
PIGMENT: Black Diamond pigments "Caribbean"
LASER: Trotec Speedy 400
WOOD FINISH: Rubio Monocoat Pure 2C Oil
